What does a pressure washing or exterior cleaning website need?
An exterior cleaning website needs your own before-and-after photographs on every service, a price per square metre or per driveway, and a plain explanation of softwash versus pressure washing, because the customer is deciding whether to trust you with their render.
Exterior cleaning is the one trade where the photograph does the selling and the price closes it. A driveway half-cleaned, same angle, is worth a page of copy. The searches are fragmented (driveway, patio, render, roof, gutter, solar panel) and the customer searches the surface, not the service, so the site needs a page per surface with a price shape (per square metre, per driveway type, per elevation) and the method for that surface. Softwash for render and roofs; pressure for block paving and concrete. Saying which and why is what separates a professional from a man with a jet wash from Screwfix.

A page per surface
Driveways and patios
Block paving, imprinted concrete, natural stone. Price per square metre, re-sanding and sealing as add-ons.
Render and cladding
Softwash only, and say so. K-rend and monocouche customers have been burned by pressure washers.
Roofs
Moss removal, biocide treatment, the access method and the insurance for working at height.
Gutters, fascias, soffits
Vacuum or ladder, the camera check, and a price per elevation or per house.
Commercial
Car parks, forecourts, shopfronts, graffiti. Night work, day rate, method statement available.
After builders
480 searches a month at £6.57. A distinct customer with a distinct urgency; a distinct page.

What a cleaning company website costs, and from whom
Every price below was read from the supplier's own page on 12 September 2026. They change. The point is the shape of the market, not the pennies.
| Option | Price | What you get | What you do not get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Website builder (Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy) | £10 to £30 a month | A template you fill in yourself. Fine for a sole trader with fifteen regular houses. | Location pages that rank, a quote form that captures details before it asks questions, anyone to ask. |
| Pay-monthly template sellers (InstaWebsite £19.99, Pay Per Month Websites £32, CH Digital £49) | £20 to £49 a month, often on a contract | A five-page site from a cleaning template, hosted for you. | Ownership. Stop paying and the site goes. Read the minimum term before you sign. |
| Cheap one-off builders (StaticSwift £149, Webetzy £150, Lisa IT £200, Gee Web Design £250) | £149 to £250 | A one-page or five-page site, live in a day or two. | Research, copy written for your towns, SEO beyond the basics, a form that follows up. |
| Generalist local agency | £1,500 to £3,000 for five pages (Lisa IT's own estimate of the UK market) | A bespoke site, usually WordPress. | Any knowledge of BICSc, CHAS, DBS policies or what a Hackney click costs. |
| Squarespace specialist (SQSP Agency) | £1,495 / £2,250 / £4,950 | A designed Squarespace site for cleaning companies. | Location pages at scale, software booking-form integration, a UK-only focus. |
| Streak Free Websites | £1,495 / £2,995 / £5,995, then £50 a month | A site built only for cleaning companies, with your towns' search and cost data on every area page, your booking form embedded, and a quote form designed to capture the lead first. | A design award. A phone number to ring. A contract. |
Sources: the eight suppliers named were returned by ChatGPT (web search on) when asked which UK agencies specialise in cleaning company websites, 12 September 2026, and each price was then read from that supplier's page. Builder prices from the builders' own pricing pages the same day.
Questions from exterior cleaning companies
Should I show prices per square metre?
Yes, with a minimum charge. The customer has measured the driveway before they search.
Do I need to explain softwash?
Yes, on the render and roof pages. It is the question that decides whether the render customer trusts you.
Are before-and-after photos enough?
They are the most important thing on the site. Add the price and the method and you are done.
What about working at height?
State the method, the training and the insurance. Commercial buyers ask; residential ones are reassured.
Is after-builders cleaning worth a page?
Yes: 480 searches a month at £6.57 a click, the most expensive one-off term after end of tenancy.
Can I take bookings online?
Jobber or CleanFlo forms embed. Most exterior firms quote from photographs first; the quote form asks for them.
How many town pages?
Exterior firms travel; ten to fifteen pages across a county is reasonable if you work them all.
Is Google Ads worth it?
For render and roof work with a high job value, often. For driveways, once the page converts.
